Fahnlohnee , is a multifaceted Performer, Visual Artist, & Writer. Born in Monrovia, Liberia and educated in the United States, currently resides on the East Coast of the U.S. This, of course we must mention because you can’t keep her de-planed for too long, she is an advocate for discovering and searching for the adventure!) Luggage check, passport check!) Though traveling ranks at the top of her list of passions, she brings her joy for life, her love for the arts and her devotion for sharing and creating with others to her personal, professional and performing endeavors whether on screen, on stage, penned, drawn or painted. She must create, it’s in her DNA.
Ms. Reeves, as she prefers these days;) (aka R. Harris, aka Harris-Tate )was a Vocal Performance Major at Loyola University and a Theatre Arts/ Communication Major at Dillard University in New Orleans, LA. She has studied voice with Philip and Ellen Frohnmeyer, opera studies with David Moorelock and coached with actor/director Art Evans in Los Angeles, CA.
“I did not have the fortune of completing an institutional degree yet my degree at ’The University of Life’ has served and blessed me in such capacities I never dreamed to imagine.” She says with the twinkle that remains constantly in her eyes.
Fahnlohnee is an award-winning singer and an accomplished film, television, and theatre actress. Her credits include such blockbuster films as The Great Debaters with Denzel Washington, Ray (a.k.a “Oh Johnny Girl”) with Jamie Foxx, Runaway Jury starring John Cusack, and Skeleton Key opposite Kate Hudson. Fahnlohnee’s television and theatre credits range from the premiere episode of Fox channels K-Ville, and co-hosting New Orleans’ Louisiana Jukebox to gracing stages with notable performances in the timeless production of The Wiz, A Lesson Before Dying by Ernest J. Gaines, Shakespeare’s’ Loves Labours Lost & Twelth Night, Athol Fugard’s Valley Song and the acclaimed Master Class (the Maria Callas story) by Terrence McNally to name a few. Ms. Reeves has worked nationally and internationally, and believes wherever she lays her hat is her home.

She can also be heard narrating the voices of the Rwandan women on the documentary Keeper’s Of Memory, which shares the lives and stories of the people as they strive to rebuild and continue on, as well as the documentary on Beijing called The Concrete Revolution, A Kiaolu Guo Film.
Currently Fahnlohnee is an Artist-In-Resident at The Straz Performing Arts Center’s Patel Conservatory where she has partnered with The Opera Tampa, creating a curriculum and program for their Outreach Department, mentoring in the course instructions of the multi-disciplines such as music, musical theatre, and drama throughout the Tampa Bay Area school districts. She continues to perform both theatrically as well as showcasing her artworks. Fahnlohnee continues to travel, perform and create, with her belief in growth and discovery and her dedication to her craft. Fahnlohnee brings her unique performing style and personality to all that she does!
